Hand-sculpted in marble, the pendant depicts a bird’s wing with each feather individually carved by hand, giving the stone a surprising sense of movement. Along its leading edge runs a sterling silver wing bone. The anatomical structure becomes a jeweled ornament in its own right, shifting the piece from a simple depiction of a wing into something that feels like a specimen or relic — something discovered and treasured.
