The Corinth earring by Macabre Gadgets is a handcrafted fragment of the Corinthian form in bonded marble and sterling silver — the most ornate of the three classical orders of Ancient Greek architecture, worn close to the face.

Each earring carries a hand-carved bonded marble Corinthian column capital: the elaborate acanthus leaf crown that gave this architectural style its reputation for refinement and civic grandeur. The Corinthian order emerged in ancient Greece and became the defining architectural language of imperial ambition — used in the Temple of Zeus in Athens, the Pantheon in Rome, and countless monuments of classical antiquity.
